AKPWS Haridwar holds meet

JAMMU, Dec 29: All Kashmiri Pandit Welfare Society (AKPWS) Haridwar Uttarakhand held a meeting at Geeta Bhawan Muthi near here today under the chairmanship of its president Arjan Nath Bhat.
The meeting was attended by various representatives including a prominent social activist H N Tickoo. He stressed that the Haridwar KP Dharamshalla be preserved as heritage site.
In his address Mr Bhat emphasized need for working cohesively and advised the members dedicate their sincere services for the development of the Dharamshala at Haridwar. C L Bhat Advocate, general secretary of the Society gave details of the functioning of the Society and working of the present care taker. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the working of the Committee.  The general secretary said for last eight months the Dharamshala has earned revenue and the Society ahs been able to pay some outstanding debt also. It decided to hold general body meet at Haridwar after ensuing Maha Shivratri.
