Earlier, in the Junior Snooker final, Akshay Kumar scripted a narrow win over Sanjay Sharma in a exciting contest by three frames to two (3-2). After losing the first frame by a narrow margin of seven points by (59-66), Akshay won the second set by (48-27) and again lost the third by a big margin (32-67), but came back strongly to win the next two sets convincingly by (60-28) and (76-58).
In Senior Billiards title clash, Sohail Khalid blanked Ishan Chowdhary in straight sets by 3-0. Sohail won the first set by (100-63) and scripted a resounding win by (100-19) in the second set and won the third set by (100-53) to claim the title.
According to organizers, the prize distribution ceremony of this tournament would be held alongwith the valedictory function of the State Championship to commence soon.
The final matches were officiated by Surjit Singh Baloria and Rakesh Sharma.
