Silver Jubilee celebrations

JAMMU, Nov 13: Alexander Memorial School, Jammu, marked its Silver Jubilee by hosting an Inter-School Sports event under the Youth Talent Search forum, uniting a spirited community of schools from Jammu.
The event featured Yudhvir Sethi, MLA of Jammu East, as chief guest, with Anil Kumar Gupta, Yoga Coach of the Indian Team, and Dr. Kishor Sharma, Principal of Govt. Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Jammu, as guests of honour. Distinguished attendees included Prabha Jain (Chairperson, New Era Environmental High School), Shashi Sharma (Principal, Bikram Memorial School, Bishnah), Rajni Gupta (Director, JK Montessori Hr. Sec. School), Neeru Puri (Principal, S.D. Tarapuri High School), Shivani Joshi (Principal, Lawrence Public School), Usha Jamwal (Principal, Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial School), Anu Charak (Vice Principal, Humanity Public School), Mala Sharma (Chairperson, Elite Public High School), and Anita Kaul (Principal, Play Way House Hr. Sec. School).
Among other prominent guests were Johnny William, former IGP and President of Alexander Memorial Education Society, Feastus Sotra, Secretary of St. Paul’s Church, CNI Jammu, Dr. Ashwani Jojra of Sahyog India, Pooja Malhotra from Rotary Club, Rajbinder Singh Kler, Proprietor of Cross Way Cricket Academy, and Delight Sarah William Kler, Director of D-Drama Academy. Principal Esther William welcomed the distinguished guests to an event showcasing spirited athletic performances, underscoring sportsmanship and teamwork.
The students demonstrated their athletic prowess in a range of events, including the Frog Race, 30 Mts. Race, Balloon Balancing Race, Lemon & Spoon Race, Hurdles Race, 100 Mts. Race, Three-Legged Race, Sack Race, and Relay Race. Humanity Public School emerged as a leading performer, securing 1st place in multiple events such as the Frog Race, 100 Mts. Race, Balloon Balancing Race, Sack Race, Hurdles Race, and Relay Race. Lawrence Public School also excelled, achieving 1st place in the Frog Race and consistently placing in top positions in other races. S.D. Tarapuri High School showed impressive results with a 2nd place in the Frog Race and a strong finish in the Relay Race, while Elite Public High School placed in the top three in several events. Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial School also stood out with high rankings in multiple races, and New Era Environmental School clinched 1st place in the Lemon & Spoon Race, demonstrating their agility and coordination.
