Bhubaneswar, Jan 2:
Around 2600 sportspersons from states and UTs of the country would display their skill and talent in the Fifth All India Forest Sports Meet scheduled to begin here from March 3 next.
Official sources said the decision to organize the meet here was taken at a high-level meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy today.
Different sports events would be organized at various stadiums for five days and the closing ceremony would be held on March 7 at the Kalinga Stadium.
Around 500 local youths and staff would assist in smooth conduct of the entire Meet.
In total, 23 games with 230 events would be organized. The referees would be nominated from Kalinga Stadium. (UNI)
