Allah-A Volleyball Club lifts Police Volleyball title

JAMMU, Feb 22: Allah-A Volleyball Club won the final of the Volleyball Tournament organized by J&K Police, District Jammu under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP), which concluded at Bishnah, here today.
Earlier, Allah-A Volleyball Club defeated Allah-B Volleyball Club by 27-25, 25-20, 18-13 and 25-14 rounds to clinch the title trophy.
In the prize distribution ceremony, Dr Kamal Arora, MLA Bishnah was the chief guest on the occasion, while S Randheer Singh SP Hqrs. Jammu, SHO P/S Bishnah Inspector, Narinder Singh Jamwal & SHO P/S Arnia Inspecto Jatinder Singh Sambyal were also present on the occasion.
Devinder Guleria from Allah-A Volleyball Club was adjudged man of the Tournament for his splendid display throughout the Tournament.
Trophies, Medals, Sports Dresses and Certificates were distributed among the players and supporting staff.
Deliberating on the aim and the objective of Civic Action Programme undertaken by J&K Police, S Randheer Singh, SP Headquarters Jammu maintained that the programme comprises several schemes for the promotion of youths in sports & cultural arena.
The CAP activities in this area are being organized under the directions of J&K PHQ, Jammu, ZPHQ Jammu, RPHQ Jammu & overall supervision of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand, SP Hqrs. Jammu S.Randheer Singh, SDPO R.S.Pura, S. Devinder Singh and SHO P/S Bishnah Inspector, Narinder Singh Jamwal.
