Allen’s 604 students selected for scholarship

KOTA, Feb 21: Allen students have achieved phenomenal success in the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) Stage-2 results of which have been declared by NCERT.
Director, Allen Career Institute (ACI), Naveen Maheshwari said that 30 per cent of students from the total declared selected in NTSE Stage-2 results are from ACI.
He informed that a total of 2033 students have been declared selected in NTSE Stage-2 results in the country of which 604 are from Allen and they have been selected for NTSE scholarship.
“Out of the 604 selected students of Allen, 387 students are from Allen classroom coaching, 193 students from workshops and 24 from distance learning program,” he maintained.
On Saturday, the success of ACI in NTSE Stage-2 results was celebrated by a cake-cutting ceremony with Allen students.
The students were greeted for their success by ACI Vice President, Pankaj Birla; PNCF Head, Tushar Parekh and Amit Gupta.
Out of 2033 selected students, 811 were from the general category, 561 from OBC, 304 from SC, 155 from ST and 202 from EWS.
Union Ministry of Human Resource Development awards Rs. 1250 per month scholarship to the students in classes 11 and 12 who are selected at the national level in the NTSE Stage-2 results while Rs. 2000 per month scholarship is awarded to the selected students in their graduation and post-graduation studies.
