JAMMU, June 25: Jammu Development Council in a video conferencing under the chairmanship of Inderjeet Khajuria expressed concern over the plight of Jammu based employees in the present scenario of COVID pandemic and lockdown.
Speaking in the meeting Khajuria said, as the situation in J&K is worsening due to COVID-19 pandemic and Kashmir is more affected as compared to Jammu, the decision of the Government to function from Jammu for this summer only was a wise step and it should have continued but the sudden decision of shifting of durbar move offices to Kashmir has increased worries of Jammu based employees.
He said that this may endanger lives of the employees and their families.
Khajuria urged upon the LG administration to allow Jammu based employees to work from Jammu offices.
Pawan Gupta, Pritam Sharma, M.L Sharma, Sankul Gupta and others also participated in the meeting.
