JAMMU, Sept 6: In a remarkable initiative aimed at bridging the gap between the private sector and the education community, AM MG Jammu, in collaboration with French Door Store and Dr. Ritu Singh, honoured educators from Delhi Public Schools across Jammu, Katra and Nagbani on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The event, held at the prestigious AM MG showroom, showcased how businesses can play a pivotal role in supporting educational endeavours.

A unique highlight of the event was a test drive experience for the educators. Teachers were transported from their respective Delhi Public Schools to the French Door Store, where they were warmly greeted with bouquets and treated to a selection of French delicacies, such as pastries and croissants. This gesture aimed to make them feel valued and appreciated for their dedication to education.
The celebration featured a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony symbolizing the spread of knowledge, along with a series of cultural performances by students. These included action songs by Class II students, retro dance performances, and a qawwali that brought joy to the audience. Noteworthy performances included a flute solo by Vardhaan Singh and a dance by Akshi Tandon, which received thunderous applause. Teachers who achieved 100% results in their subjects were also recognized.
Sanjay Mahajan and Dr. Ritu Singh praised the educators for their essential role in shaping society and highlighted the importance of collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions. The event successfully demonstrated AM MG Jammu’s dedication to honouring teachers and fostering community development.
