It is unfortunate that once again some separatists organisations opened their mouths against the yatra duration and are voicing for its cut. For the past several years they are trying for its disruption and creating impediments and obstacles for its smooth passage. They are hell bent upon to vitiate the atmosphere all around and their mindset cannot be altered whatsoever. It is a question of faith and no sane person will cooperate them in such a situation where religions sentiments of a large community are involved. These are the people who made hue and cry with regard to composite township for KPs. We all live in secular India. Here everybody has religious freedom. When our Muslim brethren go for Haj pilgrimage every kind of facility is provided to them. They are facilitated with a team of Doctors, and Nurses.
Hindus sentiments are getting hurt by the statements made by the separatists. People across the world are taking part in it and moreover yatra has promoted tourism in the State. As such its duration as in the past should continue and needs not to be altered.
