JAMMU, Mar 1: The registration of yatris for Shri Amarnathji Yatra started today in 301 branch offices of Punjab National Bank at Pan India level in designated branches.
Punjab National Bank had participated in the registration process in 2013 with 100 designated branches and this year is conducting registration in 301 branches as offered by Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
The registration process in PNB is being conducted under the leadership of Mohammad Latif Mir, Deputy General Manager, PNB, J&K.
For registration/ obtaining yatra permit, an intending yatri shall have to submit filled-in prescribed application form and compulsory health certificate issued by the authorised Doctor/ Medical institution authorized by the State Government for their respective States.
Punjab National Bank is the only authorized bank for registering NRI Yatris for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2014, an NRI pilgrim shall need to send scanned copies of the registering documents on email address: nkanand@pnb.co.in for registering the Yatris.
On the commencement of registration in PNB Rehari today, Mohammad Latif Mir, DGM-CH inaugurated the registration process and handed over Yatra Permit Forms to the intending Yatris.
PNB was the first bank to register the Yatris of Shri Amarnathji Yatra through their Core Banking Solution (online system) last year and has continued to leverage its technology advancement this year also in a better way.
RVS Jasrotia, Chief Manager, Circle Office Jammu, TC Singla, CM-BO Rehari Chowk, Lt(IN) Neeraj Kumar Anand PNB Nodal Officer for Shri Amarnathji Yatra participated in the registration process.
