Ambardar visits GHSS Camp Bohri, assures assistance

JAMMU, Sept 23: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Surinder Ambardar visited Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Camp Bohri, here today.
After interacting with the staff and students of the School during an impressive function, Mr Ambardar assured infrastructural and logistic assistance for running it effectively and smoothly.
He inspected the classes and shared his experience with the students and the teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLC lavished praise on the Principal and staff of the institution for running it efficiently and effectively despite limited infrastructural and allied facilities.
Earlier, Principal of the School, Ramesh Kumar Hakim projected needs for quality education and systematic functioning of the School.
He said since the institution is in budding stage, its requirements are colossal, adding that to make it run on smooth track, it needs assistance in variegated spheres.
He submitted a memorandum to the MLC which said that allotment of Govt land in the vicinity of Bohri area be made available in favour of the institution, because it is being run in a congested and insufficient space, the permission for vertical elevation of the hired building be taken up with concerned authorities and donation from Community Development Fund for purchasing necessary items for the School.
Later-on, vote of thanks was presented by Shiban Ji Bhat, Senior Lecturer.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Rajesh Dhar, Lecturer in Physical Education.
