JAMMU, Aug 28: Ambica Gupta, daughter of Surinder Mohan Gupta and Santosh Gupta, resident of Sangoor in Udhampur, working as Lecturer in English at GDC, Neeli Nallah, Udhampur, has won best presentation award, with a cash prize of Rs 10, 000 in the recently held International Conference on “Gender Diaspora, Cultural Identity, Education and Islamic Studies” hosted by University of Malaya, Wisma R&D, Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia.
Among the scholarly people from various countries, Ambica stood top among the presenters. She spoke on domestic violence against women in marriage.
She was presented the award by Dr D Bala, Director Institute for Education and Research, Dr Swamy, Director International Affairs, Lincoln University, Malaysia and Dr Thomas Leong, Berjaya University.
