AMCCC delegation meets CS

JAMMU, Mar 29: A delegation of All Migrants Camps Coordination Committee (AMCCC) called on Chief Secretary Iqbal Khandey and apprised him of the problems of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
The delegation which was led by Desh Rattan demanded release of balance amount of exgratia, proper power supply to migrant camps without forcing the community to enter into agreement with PDD, removal of all encroachments from Pandits as well as Hindu shrines and temples land, arranging meetings of KP representatives with DCs of Valley to settle the various pending issues, allotment of shops to those businessmen who were running their business establishments in erstwhile camps and disbanding of Apex Committee.
It also demanded that diploma holder medical assistants and pharmacists who have crossed their age limit be absorbed in National Rural Health Mission (NHRM), reshuffle in relief organization, posting of teachers in Jagti schools, financial aid be provided to those migrant students who are unable to continue their education.
The other members of the delegation were Ashok Tickoo, R N Pandita, T K Malhotra and S Daljit Singh.
