AMCCC discusses demands

JAMMU, July 9: All Migrants Camps Coordination Committee (AMCCC) discussed the demands of the migrant Kashmiri Pandit Community in its meeting held here today.
Addressing the meeting, Desh Rattan Pandita said demanded to solve water crisis in Jagti camp by using generator during power curtailment, so that people many not suffer more. He also highlighted demands of bifurcation of single sole on priority and implementation of RBA categories.
ML Munshi (senior vice president, AMCCC), said that encroachments of land and orchards of the displaced Pandit community needed to be discussed with the State Government so that the same may be restored to their original owners. He also stressed for enhancement of cash relief of Rs 20,000 per month.
