JAMMU, Feb 19: Former MLA and senior CPI (M) leader Mohd Yousuf Tarigami has urged upon the State Administration to amend most discriminatory SRO- 202.
In a press statement issued here today,Tarigami termed the SRO- 202 issued by J&K Govt in June 2015 as most discriminatory. He said keeping new employees on probation for 5 long years and providing them just basic pay and denying allowances and increments, is most unjustified and unfair.
Tarigami said these employees are struggling since long and moreover, the educated youth of the State are also protesting against this decision of the Government. He said already Law Commission headed by Justice (Retd) M K Hanjura has recommended reduction in probation period from 5 to 2 years under SRO- 202. He sought intervention of Lt Governor into the matter.
