JAMMU, Aug 13: Amit Sharma, Secretary in the Administration of Ladakh UT, today motivated youngsters to keep chasing their dreams and releasing their vision constantly in the national interest.
He was speaking at a function organised by Georgians Academy, Jammu wherein he was invited as the chief guest to address the gathering of in-house as well as day boarding students and parents here.
Amit, in his enthusiastic address, mentioned that everyone should not aim at getting Government Jobs but it is always a great thing to become ‘Job Creators’ rather than becoming ‘Job Seekers’. He shared numerous contemporary examples of successful Indian role models and global social entrepreneurs who have progressively turned around the world with their persistent efforts and hard work in their fields.
Amit Sharma addressed the young students of the Academy with the primary thought of chasing their dreams and vision with a never-give-up kind of attitude. He mentioned that there is an urgent need to imbibe the top virtues of positivity, truthfulness, non-violence, no to addictions, contribution-oriented mindset and locking minds firmly to realise one’s goals and missions till they are achieved.
He also complimented Dr Surinder Singh Kotwal, Director of Georgians Academy, Jammu who left two Government jobs, just to chase his dream of preparing young buds for top national institutes like NDA, RIMC, Military Schools, etc so as to groom them to become true assets of the nation on times to come.
Amit Sharma also distributed batches amongst the top weekly performing students. The theme of this event was “Who Am I” in which lot of bright students of the Academy shared their dreams and vision while elaborating on this interesting topic about finding the purpose of their existence in the world.
Before culmination of the programme, the young buds and all present there, took a pledge in the presence of Secretary Amit Sharma to become achievers in life with chanting of ‘Jai Hind’ thrice after him at the conclusion of his motivational address followed by a photo session with the students of Georgians Academy.
