JAMMU, June 23: Promising batsman Amritpal Singh and talented youngster, Sahil Lotra scored fabulous half-centuries to help KC Sports Club register a big win by 48 runs and consolidate their position in the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup 2014, being sponsored by KC Motors Jammu at KC Public School ground adjacent to KC Sports Club, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, KC Sports Club scored a massive total of 192 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Amritpal Singh scored magnificent 73 runs, while Sahil Lotra contributed brilliant 52 runs to the total. Suryansh chipped in with valuable 27 runs. For KC Motors CC, Anku and Amit took 2 wickets each, while Siddhant Singh Bagal claimed one wicket.
In reply, KC Motors CC scored 144 runs and lost the match by a big margin of 48 runs. Sahil, Amit, Anil and Siddhant scored 28, 24 and 21 and 21 runs respectively. For KCSC, Ashwani took 3 important wickets, while Ajay, Ramandeep, Vivek and Amritpal claimed one wicket each. Amritpal Singh was adjudged man of the match for his splendid batting display. He was presented a Westside Coupon worth Rs 1000 on the occasion. The prizes are being sponsored by KC Motors, Narwal, Jammu.
