ANANTNAG, Oct 20: The District Anantnag Kho-Kho Association, in collaboration with the J&K Kho-Kho Association and sponsored by the J&K Sports Council, organized a two-day Kho-Kho Championship at Sports Stadium Batangoo, Anantnag. Fourteen teams, both boys and girls, participated in the event.
In the boys’ section, KY International School Anantnag secured 1st place, followed by Eternal Public School 2nd and FM School Anantnag claimed 3rd. In the girls’ category, FM School Anantnag took 1st place, with Eternal Public School 2nd, and Anantnag Kho-Kho Club 3rd.
Chief guest, Raja Yaqoob, DYSSO Anantnag, along with guest of honour, Headmaster BHS Batangoo, distributed the prizes. President Manzoor and secretary Mushtaq encouraged the participants and thanked supporters for making the event a success.
