JAMMU, Apr 2: Volleyball teams of Anantnag and Kulgam reached in the finals of Youth Services and Sports Cup, being played at Khel Gaon Nagrota, here today.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the chairmanship of Director Sports Gazanfar Ali.
In quarter final matches, Jammu district trounced Rajouri by 2-0 sets, while Kulgam outplayed Ramban by 2-1 sets, whereas in semi-finals matches, Anantnag defeated Jammu by 2-1 sets and Kulgam trounced Poonch by 2-0 Sets.
The final match of the tournament will be played tomorrow at Khel Gaon Nagrota.
Pardeep Kumar SDPO Nagrota and officials of the department concerned were present during the matches. Earlier, DYSSO Jammu welcomed all the guests and briefed about the tournament being played at the above mentioned venue, here.
