JAMMU, Aug 30: Anjali Choudhary of SPMR College of Commerce bagged first position, while Jigmat of GCW Parade and Sekhu Devi of GDC Samba claimed second and third spots respectively in the Inter-Collegiate Cross Country for Women, organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical education, University of Jammu, here.
Athletes from various colleges of Jammu province affiliated to University of Jammu participated in the event.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, flagged off the race in the presence of Sumnesh Sharma, Dr Vinod Bakshi, Ajaz Malik, Suman Lata, Neelam Chalotra and Ramesh Sharma, observer of the event.
The race was conducted by Nirmal Singh, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar, Sanjeev Jamwal, Nisha Sharma, Jai Bharat and Padam Dev Singh.
