JAMMU, Apr 20: Ankur Play School Jammu and BSF Primary School (BSFPS) Jammu celebrated Annual Day and prize distribution function with great pomp and show today.
The theme of the function was “Unity in Diversity” wherein D K Boora (IG BSF Jammu Frontier, Chairman of the School) along with guest of honour Sunita Boora (BWWA president, Jammu), All DIGs, Commandants and Headmistress Sonia Gupta were also present during the event.
The function was declared open with the lightning of the lamp followed by welcome song. The Headmistress presented the Annual Report, highlighting the achievements of the institution during the session 2023 -2024.
There were various cultural items which saw the participation of majority of students. The performances were enriched with mesmerizing music, costumes and folk dances depicting the different cultures of India. The audience was bound to their seats with the performances.
On the occasion, the sports achievers and sports teacher Rameshwar Singh Jamwal were felicitated by the Chairman of the School.
The function concluded with the National Anthem by the school choir.
