JAMMU, Sept 2: Member BCCI and head of JKCA’s 3-member committee for holding activities in Jammu province, Ankush Abrol inaugurated the Selection trial Camp for Under-19 girls, which got underway at Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA), here today.
A total of 19 girls attended the Camp and sweated-it-out on the first day, under the guidance of coaches and in-charges including Rajni Sharma, Rupali Slathia, Satika Sharma and Anita.
The probables from Jammu province will be selected from this Camp, who later-on will join their counterparts from Kashmir province for selection of the team to represent J&K in the forthcoming Board of Control for Cricket in India’s women cricket tournament commencing from September 20, 2015.
Earlier, Mr Abrol and other dignitaries interacted with the campers and encouraged them for displaying good skill in the coming events.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were JKCA Working Committee Members including Mohan Lal, Rohit Malhotra, Chaman Lal Suri, Prithvi Vaid and Rajeev Pandita, besides Raman Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Ravi Sharma and Sachin Singh.
