JAMMU, Apr 10: 27th Holy Chhari Yatra was taken out after performing pooja at Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir and Shri Raghunathji Mandir Jammu.
The holy Chharis reached Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar at 8.30am, where a grand pooja was performed by the members of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar Jammu along with other devotees under the guidance of mahatmas and pujaris.
Thereafter, the yatra proceeded to Purmandal, a befitting reception was given at Shri Mahadev Mandir Gandhi Nagar, Shiv Mandir Greater Kailash, Data Ranpat Dev and Shri Narsingh Dev Mandirs’ management committees at Birpur and at other places enroute.
After reaching at Purmandal Shrines, a pooja was performed by the religious preachers in the main temple there.
GS Charak, former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K, President of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Chairman Purmandal/ Utterbehni Shrines Development Committee, while addressing the people urged the Government to take all the necessary steps for the proper development of these historic pilgrim centres of the UT and thanked all the saints/ other religious preachers, members of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, all office bearers of Purmandal/ Utterbehni Shrines Development Committee for their participation and cooperation for this pious cause.
