JAMMU, Feb 3: Evergreen Higher Secondary School, Lower Roop Nagar, Jammu celebrated Annual Day with pomp and show in its School premises, here today.
The function began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest, Bali Bhagat, MLA, followed by Ganesh Vandana and fancy dress show of kindergarten section.
The function was presided over by the president of Private Schools Association, Kamal Gupta.
Merit certificates and the trophies were distributed by the chief guest among the meritorious students.
Mementoes were presented to the chief guest and the guest of honour by Subash Singh, chairman of the School.
A galaxy of cultural items was presented by the students, which included Dogri, Kashmiri, Rajasthani, Haryanvi and Punjabi dances, besides Western cultural items like Baby Doll, Hip Hop, MJ Dance and Patriotic Song etc.
At the end of the function, president of School Management Committee, Swaran Singh Chib presented vote of thanks.
