JAMMU, Mar 1: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor, Anu Bali along with social activist, Naveen Bali here today inaugurated lane and drain work at Rehari Colony in Ward 24.
The work will be completed at the cost of Rs. 5 lakh and the lane and drain was in dilapidated condition since long due to which the locals of the area and the passersby were facing a lot of problems while moving through the lane.
Speaking on the occasion Anu Bali asked the general public to come forward and cooperate with JMC in various development works within Jammu city.
She urged upon the residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine work and don’t throw debris and garbage in public drains and lanes.
The Councillor appealed to the people of her Ward to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean and beautiful city.
Prominent local including Bhupender Basur, Tarun Tandon, Bhanu Phool, Anil Chopra, Baisakhi Ram, Raj Kumar, Daleep Chopra, Harish Gupta, Rajinder Basur, Parmod Chopra, Ajay Phool, Monika Chopra, Sweety Kakkar, Vandana Phool, Shashi Basur, Poonam Gupta, Renu Gupta and others were also present on the occasion.
