JAMMU, Aug 20: Art of Living (AoL) organised happiness programmes with Sri Sri Ravi Shanker through web cast on Jammu centres.
Hundreds of participants from all walks of life, backgrounds and religion joined these programmes at four different locations in Jammu region. Apart from the powerful breathing techniques, Yoga, Pranayama and meditation, the program also had interactive wisdom sessions that provided practical life tools to handle any difficult or stressful situation in life.
The AoL centres which organized the happiness course were Gian Mandir and Temple of Knowledge AoL Meditation centres at Trikuta Nagar, Sri Sri Dhyan Kendra at Shakti Nagar and Kathua centre. The AoL Jammu faculty and volunteers who provided their services in the programme were Savinder Gupta and Ravinder Mansotra (STCs), Ajay Gupta, Tejasvi Gupta, Sunita Cherwo, Hemu Karki and others.
The program, a blend of trend and tradition, offered practical tools for people to sustain their energy, happiness and help face the challenges of today’s fast-paced world. Many participants reported feeling calmer, happier and more rested than before, after attending the programme.
It was a huge one-of-a-kind event, and with the active participation of The Art of Living teachers and volunteers, it has turned out to be a great success,” says Rajesh Jagasia, National Director for The Art of Living Programs. He said about 3000 participants also travelled to the scenic Art of Living International Center in Bengaluru to be part of the program from across the country.
