KATHUA, Dec 27: Organized by Art of Living (AoL), Kathua Chapter, a Happiness Program and Stress Free Teaching Workshop for over 150 teachers at four different Government and private schools in Nagri-Parole, under the guidance of AoL teachers, Sangeeta Anand and Krishan Kant, concluded today.
The course was attended by school staff that includes principals, vice-principals and lectures along with other faculty members. The schools where happiness program was organized were Government Middle School, Government Girls High School, Government Higher Secondary School and DAV Krishna Public School Nagri-Parole, Kathua.
The AoL Kathua Chapter STC, faculty members, volunteers and DDC member, AK Katyal were also present there and did a commendable job in organizing courses. The AoL founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s unique Sudarshan Kriya was taught to participants.
Apart from the powerful breathing techniques, Yoga, Pranayama and meditation, the program also had interactive wisdom sessions that provided practical life tools to handle any difficult or stressful situation in life.
The main aim of the programs were to bid goodbye to all fears, anxiety, scattered mind, aggression, mood swings, health issues, negative thoughts, and give a heartiest welcome to joy, focused and clear mind, enthusiasm, positive outlook plus feeling of oneness and boundless potential to achieve the best in life.
There are four main kinds of stress that happen during school hours to all the teachers. All of them were covered one by one. Reasons were discussed and practical solutions on how to come out of it were shared.
As an Art of Living teacher, the speakers recommended 15 minutes meditation sessions for all the participants in the morning and in the evening with an aim to impart relaxation at the beginning and end of the day’s proceedings. The speakers also recommended conducting free light yoga classes for the delegates each morning.
