JAMMU, Dec 28: Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel exhibited their talent in various events organized on the day-3 of the ongoing Inter Battalion Sports Meet, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police at different venues.
In Shooting Men (Pistol Glock 25 meters) Standing Position, DySP Farooq Hussain Shah of IRP-1st Battalion emerged winners, whereas SSP Rakesh Kumar, Dy Commandant IRP-12th Battalion secured runner-up position and in Pistol Glock (15 meters) Squatting Position, SP Vijay Kumar Jamwal of IRP-18th Battalion emerged winner, while SSP Swarn Singh Kotwal bagged runner up position.
In Shooting Men (Pistol Glock 25 meters) Standing Position, SgCt Harish Singh of IRP-9th Battalion, Constable Sanjay Kumar of IRP-14th Battalion and Inspector DK Bhardwaj of IRP-14th Battalion bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, whereas in Pistol 15 meters Squatting Position, SgCt Harish Singh of IRP-9th Battalion, SI Rakesh Sharma of JKAP-7th Battalion and SgCt Mohammad Shafiq of JKAP-14th Battalion bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Shooting Women (Pistol 25 meters) Standing Position, HC Anita Devi of IRP-15th Battalion emerged winner and SI Renu Rattan of IRP-19th Battalion bagged runner-up position, whereas in Pistol 15 meters Squatting Position, SI Renu Rattan of IRP-19th Battalion and HC Anita Devi of IRP-15th Battalion bagged winner and runner-up positions respectively.
In Shooting Men (Carbine 50 meters) Kneeling Position, Constable Arshad Ahmed of JKAP-13th Battalion, SgCt Farooq Ahmed of IRP-19th Battalion and Inspector DK Bhardwaj of IRP-14th Battalion bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, whereas in Carbine 40 meters Standing Position, Constable Arshad Ahmed of JKAP-13th Battalion, SgCt Rajinder Singh of IRP-12th Battalion and SgCt Farooq Ahmed of IRP-19th Battalion secured Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Shooting Women (Carbine 50 meters) Kneeling Position, HC Anita Devi of IRP-15th Battalion and Constable Suriya Bano of IRP-15th Battalion secured winner and runner-up positions respectively, whereas in Carbine 40 meters Standing Position, HC Anita Devi emerged winner and Constable Suriya Bani bagged runner-up position.
In Shooting Men (Rifle 100 meters) Prone Position, SI Tarun Gandotra of IRP-19th Battalion, SgCt Mohammad Shafiq of JKAP-14th Battalion and SgCt Harish Singh of IRP-9th Battalion bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively, whereas in Rifle 100 meters Kneeling Position, whereas in Rifle 100 meters Kneeling Position, SgCt Mohammad Shafiq, SI Tarun Gandotra and Constable Shakeel Ahmed bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
In Shooting Women (Rifle 100 meters) Prone Position, Constable Devi Rani bagged Gold medal, whereas in Rifle 100 meters Kneeling Position, Contable Devi Rani, SI Renu Rattan and Constable Neelam Devi bagged Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively.

In Handball Men, IRP-7th Battalion, IRP-17th Battalion, JKAP-7th Battalion, IRP-20th Battalion, IRP-18th Battalion and IRP-7th Battalion emerged winners, in Basketball Men, AP-7th Battalion will take on IRP-4th Battalion in the summit clash, in Badminton Singles, SSP Kulwant Singh and SSP Sanjeev Khajuria will lock horns in the final, in Table Tenni, DySP Paramvir Singh registered win and entered into final.
