AKHNOOR, Sept 10: Army Public School (APS) Akhnoor honoured its exceptional students and teachers at a grand felicitation ceremony, highlighting their achievements in academics and extracurricular activities. The event was graced by Pooja S Banga, Chairperson of the Family Welfare Organisation of the Army formation managing the school, who presented the AWWA Awards of Appreciation and Excellence.
Samanavi Sharma received the Zonal AWWA Award of Appreciation for her remarkable overall performance. Ex-student Chhavi Sharma was honoured with the Chairperson AWWA Award of Appreciation for her outstanding contributions to sports. Master Shoryan Chahar and Master Abhay Partap were both recognized with Chairperson AWWA Awards for their accomplishments in academics and extracurricular activities, respectively.
On the teaching front, Sangita Bhatt and Sweta Sikharwar were acknowledged for their excellence, receiving the Chairperson AWWA Award and the Zonal AWWA Award, respectively.
Additionally, APS Akhnoor earned the Northern Command Award of Excellence at the Northern Command Principal’s Meet in Srinagar for its outstanding performance in co-curricular activities. This recognition underscores the school’s dedication to fostering holistic development and excellence among its students and staff.
