JAMMU, Dec 20: Army Public School (APS) Akhnoor celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Swarnim Prakashotsav,’ marking the grand conclusion of a year-long Golden Jubilee celebration.
The event held at the Sanga Auditorium, reflected on five decades of excellence in education and the school’s glorious past while looking forward to a bright future. Major General Sameer Shrivastava, Patron of the school and Meena Shrivastava, President, Family Welfare Association, Cross Sword Division, graced the occasion with their distinguished presence.
Principal Geeta Sharma presented the annual report, highlighting the school’s achievements in academics, co-curricular activities and social initiatives. She thanked the students, staff and parents for their collective efforts and urged everyone to continue striving for success.
A vibrant cultural program showcased the talents of students through dance, music, and thought-provoking plays, embodying the spirit of ‘Swarnim Prakash.’ The prize distribution ceremony honoured outstanding contributors in various fields. The unveiling of the Golden Jubilee Coffee Table Book, a tribute to the school’s 50-year journey, made the event even more memorable.
