JAMMU, Apr 4: Army Public School Akhnoor hosted an inspiring seminar, “A Day with the Architects of Society,” focusing on women empowerment, leadership and resilience.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, setting the tone for an enlightening session. A soulful musical tribute by Suresh Bala in honour of womanhood further enriched the occasion.
Tina Sahi, an ultra-marathon runner, shared her journey of endurance and perseverance, while Dr Kamaldeep Kaur underscored the transformative power of education in shaping empowered women. Ruby Bano, a Veer Nari, delivered a moving address on courage and resilience. Col. Ajay Raina inspired the audience with his insights on leadership and service.
The event, attended by 194 students, also included a felicitation ceremony honouring notable contributors, the members of the Inner Wheel Club and other distinguished guests for their unwavering commitment to community service and empowerment.
The seminar concluded with insightful remarks from Brig MP Singh, chief guest, who emphasized the importance of empowering the women of our society to build a stronger and more progressive nation. This was followed by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Geeta Sharma, Principal.
