SAMBA, Dec 2: APS BD Bari celebrated its Annual Day amidst great zeal, zest & vibration.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and Shiv Stotram reverberating in the background cleansing the aura of the school.
Brig Deep Bhagat, SM Chairman APS BD Bari was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme was attended by a galaxy of officers along with parents.
The whole programme revolved around the theme of ‘Navras -The Beauty of Life’.
The various programmes presented by the students well demonstrated the Nine Ras i.e. Shringar, Hasya, Adbutta, Shanta, Raudra, Veera, Karuna, Bhayanaka & Vibhasta ras of the Navras.
Annual report read out by the Principal Neeta Rawal mirrored the achievements of the school in both curricular and co-curricular fields.
“Shiv Tandav Stotram” engrossed the audience, creating a pious & spiritual environment. ‘Bachnagma’ presented by the ravishing divas of the school was a worthy successor to “Koli Dance” performed by the artistic performers of the school.
‘Bhangra’ was the show stopper of the day.
In order to felicitate the students ‘Prize Distribution Ceremony’ was organised wherein Chairman gave away the prizes to the various rank holders in both curricular and co-curricular arenas.
Finally, the programme ended with the vote of thanks extended by the CCA Coordinator of the school.
