APS BD Bari celebrates Annual Day with pomp & show

JAMMU, Jan 24: APS BD Bari celebrated its Annual Day with pomp and show, here today.
The programme was inaugurated by the traditional ceremony of lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The function was presided over by the chief guest, chairman APS BD Bari , while the chairperson FWO was the guest of honour.
The welcome song by the students enthralled the audience, while ‘Ganesh Vandana’ performed by the senior wing of the school created a pious and spiritual environment.
The zest and joy of the students for the event was visibly displayed by their performance on the dance number ‘Itni si khushi’.
The highlight of the day was the dance presented by the students on the theme of ‘Patriotism’ alongwith the school band. The mesmerizing cultural show grabbed the attention of the audience.
From tiny toddlers to teenyboppers, the event encouraged and gave rewards and an opportunity to everybody to showcase their talent. Throughout the one and a half hour show of excellence the students enraptured the audience with their message driven cultural programme which was well prepared and presented.
In order to felicitate the teachers and meritorious students ‘Prize Distribution’ was organised wherein chairman APS BD Bari gave away the prizes to the rank holders in various curricular and co curricular arenas. Chairman APS BD Bari addressed the audience on the occasion.
Finally, the programme ended with the vote of thanks given by Senior CCA Coordinator.
