APS Damana holds CBP

JAMMU, Nov 13: Army Public School Damana, in collaboration with CoE Chandigarh, hosted a two-day Capacity Building Programme on ‘JOYFUL MATHEMATICS (PRP)’ at its Multipurpose Hall. The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and included insightful sessions conducted by Charan Singh Lalotra, TGT Mathematics from APS Janglot, and Bandana Manhas, TGT Mathematics from Jammu Sanskriti School.
A total of 34 educators from various CBSE institutions participated in the programme aimed at transforming the teaching and learning of Mathematics. The workshop focused on creating an engaging and enjoyable experience for students by integrating innovative teaching strategies, technology, and real-life applications of Mathematics.
Manhas shared her expertise on modern techniques, including the use of Self-Learning Materials (SLM) and tools like Geo Gebra, while addressing common teaching challenges. The workshop emphasized making Mathematics more accessible and enjoyable, breaking the traditional view of the subject as difficult.
School Principal, Pushpinder Kaur, emphasized the importance of equipping educators with the latest teaching trends to foster a positive and dynamic learning environment. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a patriotic note with the national anthem.
