JAMMU, Oct 11: Army Public School (APS) Damana, under the guidance of Brigadier Vivek Puri, Chairman, organized a motivational session for the girls at the Borderless World Foundation, a non-profit shelter supporting girls affected by terrorism and other hardships. 25 students from classes VI-IX, along with their school counselor, visited the orphanage.
Madhur Uppal, Counselor at APS Damana, led an informative session on “How to Handle Changes of Puberty and Adolescence,” educating the girls on physical, emotional and social development during these crucial years. The session aimed to empower the girls by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate adolescence with confidence.
The school also donated healthy snacks to the children, spreading joy and promoting well-being. Principal Pushpinder Kaur emphasized the importance of kindness and humanity, encouraging everyone to help uplift those in need by offering care, love and support. The session left a positive impact on the children, boosting their self-belief and confidence.
