JAMMU, Jan 29: The CBSE Art-Integrated Activity, held under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat flagship programme, was successfully executed by APS Damana in collaboration with APS Ahmedabad.
The event, aimed at fostering cultural exchange and promoting experiential learning among students. The programme was hosted by Aditya Rajput and Ereksha Shandal of Class IX, with the consistent mentorship of Neeru Devi, TGT English, and Level Coordinator for Classes IX-X.
The event began with a vibrant and respectful Lok Dharshan of Jammu and Kashmir, featuring a folk ballad and dance performance by the students of APS Damana, guided by Sunny Kumar, TGT Music. This was followed by a captivating folk ballad performance by APS Ahmedabad, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat. The students of APS Ahmedabad further showcased the state’s cultural vibrancy with a stunning folk dance performance.
The event reached its peak with an exhibition curated by Anju Kumari, TGT Arts, showcasing J&K’s visual arts, including ethnic paintings, samovars, shikaras, and local cuisines. The exhibition served as a rich representation of both J&K and Gujarat’s artistic traditions and cultural heritage.
Shallu Kapoor, Vice Principal of APS Damana, along with Neeru Devi, acknowledged the diligent efforts of the students and faculty in organizing the cultural exchange event, which contributed to promoting joyful and experiential learning. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Siya Choudhary of Class IX.
