APS Damana organizes Inter APS Cluster-I Hindi Debate Competition

JAMMU, Sept 4: Army Public School Damana organized an Inter APS Cluster-I Hindi Debate Competition for students of Classes IX-XII on 4 September 2023 in the Multipurpose Hall of the school.
Brigadier Vivek Puri, Chairman Army Public School Damana was the chief guest on the momentous occasion. Pushpinder Kaur, Principal APS Damana, Shallu Kapoor, Vice Principal, Hindi Department of the school, escort teachers and participants from various Army Public Schools of Western Command Cluster I were present.
Dr. Vandana Sharma, Assistant Professor Department of Hindi, Central University Jammu, Dr. Jyoti Rani, Assistant Professor Department of Hindi, Government Degree College, Kathua and Dr. Sunil Kumar Saliada, Assistant Professor Department of Hindi, Government Degree College Bishnah were adjudicators for the event.
Eight Army Public Schools such as APS Jammu Cantt, APS Ratnuchak, APS Kaluchak, APS BD Bari, APS Samba, APS Miran Sahib, APS Sunjwan and APS Damana hailing under Indian Army’s Western Command Cluster-I recorded their participation wherein there was a gruelling competition between them to qualify for the Command Level Competition.
The chief guest felicitated the winners with the trophies and certificates of eminence. The Principal along with the dignitaries honoured the winner school APS Damana with the winning trophy and runners up trophy was bagged by APS BD Bari.
The best speaker in Favour of Motion was Suneha Sharma (XII), APS Damana while Gaytri Singh (X) was declared as The Best Speaker against the Motion. Vishav Singh Manhas (XI), APS BD Bari was adjudged as the Best Interjector of the debate competition. The jury members were also felicitated with Mementos and Certificates. The special efforts were laid by Manu Kumari (PGT), HOD Hindi, Malkeet Kour (TGT Hindi) and Amita Sharma (TGT Hindi).
