APS Damana wins Inter APS Cluster-I Hindi Debate Competition

JAMMU, July 31: Army Public School (APS) Damana hosted the Inter APS Cluster-I Hindi Debate Competition for students from Classes IX-XII in their Multipurpose Hall. The event saw fierce competition among participants from eight schools: APS Jammu Cantt, APS Ratnuchak, APS Kaluchak, APS BD Bari, APS Samba, APS Miran Sahib, APS Sunjwan, and APS Damana.
Lieutenant Colonel Randeep Singh Salathia, SO School was the chief guest, alongside Vice Principal Shallu Kapoor and the dedicated Hindi Department. The debate was adjudicated by a distinguished panel including Prof. Balwan Singh, Dr. Esha Verma, and Dr. Parveen Kumari, who brought their expertise to the competition.
The debate, rich in diverse perspectives and intellectual rigor, culminated in APS Damana emerging as the overall winner, securing the coveted trophy. APS Ratnuchak claimed the runners-up position. Individual accolades were awarded to Aryan Sharma from APS Ratnuchak, named ‘Best Speaker,’ and Vaibhav Sharma from APS Damana, who was honored as the ‘Best Interjector.’
Lieutenant Colonel Randeep Singh Salathia praised the participants for their outstanding performance, while Vice Principal Shallu Kapoor lauded the winners. The event concluded with the presentation of trophies and certificates, followed by the National Anthem.
