UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: Army Public School (APS) Dhar Road hosted Northern Command Inter-APS English and Hindi Debate Competition, here.
The participating schools were APS Udhampur, APS Dhar Road, APS Akhnoor, APS Rakhmuthi, APS Srinagar and APS Nagrota.
The participants were well prepared and explained their point of view very well.
Earlier, Vice Chairman of the school, Col Ankush Sharma CO 107, AD Regt presented welcome address, which was followed by the lighting of the lamp and a welcome song.
The judges were prominent educationists from prominent schools.
After a tough and cut throat competition, APS Dhar Road bagged the winner’s trophy in English and APS Nagrota in Hindi.
The 1st runners-up trophy in English was bagged by APS Udhampur and in Hindi runners-up trophy was picked up by APS Dhar Road.
The best speaker’s trophy in English was lifted by Minerva of APS Dhar Road and for Hindi best speaker’s trophy went to Aditi of APS Nagrota.
The best interjector’s trophy for English went to Sahil Tandi of APS Udhampur whereas the best interjector’s trophy for Hindi was bagged by Hargun Kaur of APS Srinagar.
The Principal of the school, Jyoti Bedyal presented vote of thanks.
