JAMMU, Apr 29: Army Public School Jammu Cantt. celebrated the 33rd Raising Day of Army Welfare Education Society ( AWES ) in the school premises with lot of zeal and enthusiasm here today. The whole ambience of the school echoed with celebrations and competitions.
A Special Morning Assembly was conducted to mark the significance of the day. The Assembly commenced with the address by Ms Pallavi Sharma TGT Sc. She threw light on the foundation of AWES, its history and the initiatives taken by it in imparting education up to class XII and thereafter in various disciplines of education in professional colleges run by AWES. The assembly concluded with AWES song inspiring students to achieve excellence in their pursuits.
