JAMMU, Aug 24: The Inter-School Debate Competition was organized by Army Public School (APS) Jammu Cantt under the aegis of Sahodaya Group Foundation of Schools Jammu Chapter, here.
63 delegates drawn from a total of 20 schools from Jammu region participated in the Competition.
The judges were Prof Rita Munshi, former Principal of GCW Gandhi Nagar, Prof Ravinder Singh, English Department, University of Jammu and Lokesh Ganjoo, former GM of JKADC.
The topic of the debate was ‘Free Press Safeguards Democracy.”
APS Jammu Cantt emerged winner and Sarthak Luthra of APS Jammu Cantt was adjudged as the best speaker and Arunav Sudan of the same School as the best interjector.
