JAMMU, Feb 13: Army Public School Jammu Cantt (APSJC) has been making waves, as two of its brightest students, Priyanshu Kumar Yadav and Vaibhav Yadav from Class VIII, emerged victorious at the prestigious Unveiling India Quiz hosted by ZEE NEWS, Delhi. The quiz saw an incredible participation of 17,000 students from across the country, with Priyanshu and Vaibhav claiming the first place after an intense and competitive series of rounds.
The final showdown, a high-stakes battle between the top 8 teams out of 32 semi-finalists, was filled with anticipation. The dynamic duo’s sharp minds, quick responses and excellent teamwork led them to clinch the top spot, earning them a massive cash prize of Rs 3 lakhs. Their win not only celebrated their intellectual brilliance but also demonstrated the power of collaboration and perseverance.
“The quiz was not just about knowledge but also about adaptability and strategy,” said Srestha Katal, PGT History, who, along with Richa Gupta, TGT Science, mentored the students. The teachers praised the students for excelling under pressure and showcasing the values of teamwork and intellectual curiosity fostered at APSJC.
“We are incredibly proud of their achievement,” shared Puneet Kaur, Principal of APSJC. “Priyanshu and Vaibhav exemplify hard work and determination, and their success is a shining example for the entire school.”
The proud parents of the students, alongside the Chairman Brigadier Harjot Singh, also expressed their joy and support for the students, recognizing the school’s role in nurturing talent. As Vaibhav stated, “This win is a reflection of the support we’ve received and it proves that with focus and teamwork, we can achieve anything.”
