JAMMU, July 25: Army Public School Kaluchak organized Inter Army Public School Cluster-1 Badminton Tournament for the session 2023-24.
Eight Army Public Schools such as Jammu Cantt, Army Public School, Ratnuchak, Army Public School, Sunjwan, Army Public School, BD Bari, Army Public School, Miran Sahib, Army Public School, Samba, Army Public School, Damana and Army Public School Kaluchak participated in the same.
The competitions witnessed dominant performances as well as very close and nail biting finishes. It was nip and tuck between the teams of Army Public School, Jammu Cantt and Army Public School, Kaluchak who had qualified for the finals. Later, Army Public School, Kaluchak clinched the winner’s trophy.
The purpose of this competition was to bring the youth together under one roof, celebrate sports and develop healthy competition amongst youngsters. The winners were felicitated. The efforts of the players were appreciated by Colonel Abhinav Khare, Vice Chairman, Army Public School, Kaluchak. He lauded the body control, tactical knowledge, risk assessment, endurance, agility, coordination and spatial awareness of the participants.
Namrata, Principal, Army Public School Kaluchak encouraged the students and reiterated that sports events are meant to showcase the collective talent of the youth rather than only recognizing winners.
