JAMMU, Sept 8: Army Public School (APS), Kaluchak won the Jammu Cityfinals of Limca Book of Record Quiz in association with Derek O’ Brien and Associates, held at Jodhamal Public School. The school would now be amongst the 80 schools to compete in the semifinals.
In the quiz, Army Public School, Jammu and Spring Dales School, Jammu, emerged as runner ups.
Around 180 students from 38 schools participated from Jammu, out of which 6 schools competed in the city finals.
The winning team was felicitated by V Ravi, Factory Manager, for Hindustan Coca Cole Beverages Private Limited in presence of Principal and Vice Principal of Jodhamal School.
The winning team will be competing with the North Zone schools in the semifinals next, which will be followed by the national-finals where top 10 teams will be battling out for a trophy.
While speaking, V Ravi, said that The Limca Book of Records Quiz is an endeavour to provide the students of the country an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and aptitude and discover the quizzing talents of the country.
He said that the quiz provides a platform for students to engage and learn from the best minds across the county and to enhance one’s overall knowledge bank.
