NAGROTA, Nov 30: Army Public School Nagrota celebrated its Annual Day with great fervour, here today.
Maj Gen N C Badhani was the chief guest on the occasion.
300 students participated in various folk dances, tableau, songs and Hindi play.
The cultural programme had great variety and participation from students of all age groups..
Rohini Rohit Gurung, Principal APS Nagrota read out the school report and highlighted the achievements of the students in this academic year.
In the felicitation ceremony the chief guest gave away the prizes to the following students namely Vanshika, class XIIth topper, who was awarded a cash prize of Rs 5000 for scoring 93% marks; Ayush Sharma of class XIIth, who was given the best Literary Activities Award;
Sushmita Roy of class Xth, who was awarded for her work in Art; Parminder Singh of class XIIth, who was given best Quizzing Award; Akash Sharma of class XIIth, who was given best Sports Award; Yogesh Sharma of class IXth, who got best Music Award.
