JAMMU, June 8: Army Public School Damana orders women health awareness programme for class XII and X girl students.
The guest speaker on the occasion was Dr Jyoti Hak, a renowned obstetrician and Gynecologist Medical College Jammu.
The programme commenced with a welcome note by Anurita Koul PRT for the guest speaker.
The guest speaker sensitized the children about the causes of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. She sensitized about understanding the lifestyle diseases that are outcome of unhealthy choices of food as well as living and PCOS in one of them. She stressed on exercise, healthy lifestyle and spent quality time with family.
Principal APS Damana Pushpinder Kaur also took session on women’s health awareness. Vice Principal Shallu Kapoor also sensitized the children on health issues.
On behalf of APS Damana fraternity, Anurita Koul PRT expressed gratitude to Dr Jyoti Hak.
