JAMMU, Dec 8: Army Public School (APS) Rakhmuthi celebrated its Annual Sports Day with grandeur and enthusiasm. The chairman served as the Chief Guest for the event, which was held in the beautifully decorated sports ground complete with T-rods and flags.
Principal, Shaswati Ghosh presented annual report, eloquently highlighting school’s achievements. A synchronised march past by NCC cadets and students from the four houses ensued, accompanied by a pledge to uphold the school motto, “Hardwork Carves Destiny”.
The day unfolded with a well-organised sequence of sports events including races for teachers, male parents. Class-I students eagerly participated in the 50 metres Butterfly and Flower Race, while class-II was engaged in the Carrot and Rabbit Race.
Zumba, Yoga and the Pyramid added an extra layer of excitement to the day, displaying the students’ talent, vigour and unity. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the chief guest felicitated the winners of various athletic activities.
