APS Ratnuchak emerges winner, APS Kaluchak secures runner-up position

JAMMU, Sept 28: Army Public School Ratnuchak organized Inter Army Public School Cluster I English Debate Competition.
Eight Army Public Schools of Jammu region—Ratnuchak, Kaluchak, Jammu Cantt, Samba, BD Bari, Miran Sahib and Sunjwan participated in the event exhibiting their extra ordinary oratory skills.
The programme commenced with lighting the ceremonial lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.
During the competition each team rose to the occasion to present their views on the most relevant topic of today’s, “Social Media—A Boon or A Bane”. The participants spoke ‘against’ and ‘for’ the motion debated enthusiastically.
The highlight of the event was the ‘Rebuttal Round’. It came alive with the volley of questions from the refuters which were aptly answered by the witty and vivacious speakers from the opponent teams.
The programme came to an end with prize distribution ceremony.
Simran Kumari Rai and Kanika Chib both from Army Public School Ratnuchak were adjudged the
Best Speakers for and against the motion respectively. Vikram Singh Jamwal of Army Public School Jammu Cantt was adjudged Best Interjector.
