SAMBA, Nov 21: Army Public School Samba celebrated ‘Bal Mela’ children’s fest, which was organised at the premises of the school. It was an opportunity given to the children to plunge into a world full of merriment and laughter, an effort made to keep the spirit of childhood alive within every individual.
The Bal Mela was inaugurated by the Chairman Army Public School Samba. The Chairman with other members inspected the stalls and relished the food and other items displayed for sale.
The programme also included a variety of cultural items like Talent Show, Dance performances, Nukkad Natak and a captivating Orchestra. Children had an extremely wonderful time hopping from one stall to another, taking part in games and enjoying various eatables. Music on demand was the highlight of the fete. Many children could be seen, eagerly waiting for their songs to be played, dedicated to their friends, teachers or other members of APS family.
The event culminated with a raffle draw, in which many exciting prizes like LED TV, music system, microwave, wrist watches etc were awarded to the winners. The overall ambience was stunning, and fabulous.
The Chairman appreciated the effort put in by APS Samba towards giving children a chance to enjoy their childhood. Sanjeev Pradhan, Principal APS Samba also appreciated the staff members.
