JAMMU, Sept 4: J&K Sports Speedball Association organized Inter District Speedball Championship at APS Indoor hall in collaboration with APS Udhampur.
More than 300 players from different schools and districts like Udhampur, Jammu, Samba and Kathua participated in the championship.
In the inaugural ceremony, chief guest was Sanjeev Kumar Principal APS Udhampur, while Sunny Nanda General Secretary J&K Sports Speed Ball Association was the special guest.
In the valedictory function, chief guest was Mohan Lal SSP Deputy Director Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur, while Jyoti Badyal Principal APS Dhar Road was the special guest and Sajneev Kumar Principal APS Udhampur was the guest of honour. Sunny Nanda General Secretary JKSBA and Renu Devi Member were also present.
Mohan Lal SSP Deputy Director Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur distributed medals among the winners and also addressed the players and audience.
In the championship, APS Udhampur emerged as overall Winner, Runner up trophy was clinched by Crescent Public School Janipur Jammu. Randheer Singh, a student of SD Tara Puri High School was adjudged as best player of the championship.
The officials of the event were Mridu Gupta, Suryansh, Aditya, Vishal, Sandeep Sharma, Sahil, Ankit Sharma and Parkash Singh. The event was hosted by Gurmanjeet Singh International players.
